Who are we?

S.A.G.E.S is a division of Wavecrest Enterprises, a health and wellness company serving high-stressed and medically challenged adults since 1981.

The goal of S.A.G.E.S is to help achieve health and wellness; helping senior elders live long and independent lives with wellness, strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.

Owner Marcia Silvermetz received her Masters degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology from the University of Virginia. Her Sports Medicine work has centered around pain management, cardiac rehabilitation, massage and fitness programs for injured and rehabilitating clients.

Who do we cater to?

S.A.G.E.S is intended for both younger seniors with medical challenges and older seniors over 80 who prefer to exercise in their own homes or gyms, or on their own equipment. Caregivers can participate or take a break!

Where are sessions held?

Personal fitness training is held in the home or gym of the individual. Light weights and some equipment can be provided. We make it easy to get in shape!

What is Equine Sports Massage?

Equine sports massage is the therapeutic application of hands on massage techniques for the purpose of increasing the horse’s circulation, relaxing and relieving muscle spasms and tension, and increasing range of motion in all horses.
